Choose the conversation stage

Initial feasibility establishes whether the direction and approximate quantity can be discussed. RFQ requires a specification and quotation basis. Sampling needs reference identity and review tasks. Order and repeat-order stages need exact versions and conditions carried forward. Choose the actual stage rather than asking every possible question at once.

Keep known answers

Enter direction, use, quantity, reference and current supplier answers. Unknown values may remain unanswered. Source labels distinguish a buyer target from a supplier statement. If a reply is current and applies to this programme, retain it instead of asking the same broad question. Reconfirm it when a changed condition affects its scope.

Select decision-changing gaps

Choose missing specifications, colour minimums, sampling conditions, commercial inclusions or evidence needed now. The tool organises a concise list rather than collecting every document. The default view limits displayed questions to help prioritisation; review all selected questions in the export when needed. Remove matters unrelated to the next decision.

Use accurate feasibility language

For directions outside Fred's public wool and wool-blend woven range, ask whether the project can be considered. Do not phrase a question as an assumed supply commitment. Ask style and colour quantity questions separately, including programme confirmation of the published 500 metres per style. An enquiry can include a smaller target without assuming an exception.

Edit for an answerable reply

Add the material or sample ID and specification revision. Ask one precise question at a time: please confirm whether the quoted width is usable and whether this offer applies to our colour allocation. Separate requests when a partial answer would otherwise be difficult to recognise. Preserve your own intended meaning.

Review before sharing

Preview the list and any contact details. Copy, download or print it, or open a contact application and paste the reviewed questions yourself. Generating or copying text does not send it. Keep the supporting quotation or sample reference available when the supplier replies, and remove confidential details not needed for the conversation.

Record what the reply resolves

Connect each answer to its question and retain unresolved items. The tool does not verify certificates, grade trustworthiness or score a supplier. Clear removes the draft; optional tab saving expires after 30 minutes. The stage examples below show how the same project needs different questions as evidence and decisions accumulate.
