Enter the original records

Create two or three records with a source label, date, revision, validity and fabric reference. Enter the original values rather than a remembered summary. Preserve wording for inclusions, exclusions and schedule. A charge that is not stated remains unknown; do not enter zero unless the offer explicitly states that no charge applies.

Connect specification and quantity

Identify the brief revision, composition, construction, finish, weight, width and colour scope. Include each unit and the meaning of width. Enter quantity units and price units separately. A price for one colour or a larger quantity break is not automatically the price for your proposed order. Link the quotation to the correct sample reference.

Confirm a common basis

Price differences need matching currency, price unit, specification revision, quantity basis, colour scope, trade term, Incoterms version, named place and inclusion scope. Check original sources and actively confirm equality. A relevant edit resets that confirmation so a previous check cannot make changed quotations appear comparable. Unconfirmed or different fields remain clarification tasks.

Understand limited calculations

When price and quantity units match, the fabric-line amount is unit price multiplied by quantity. It is not the order total or landed cost. An optional yard-to-metre conversion uses 0.9144 metres per yard and preserves original values. This version does not convert kilogram prices or currencies. Review a conversion before using its result.

Read differences as questions

A different specification, currency, width meaning or delivery scope requires clarification before a numerical comparison. The tool does not select a winner or score a supplier. Record your priorities alongside sample observations and programme conditions. If a lower price follows a material substitution, decide whether the substitution is acceptable before treating it as a buying advantage.

Preview and export

Check records and open questions, then copy, download or print the output. When a response resolves one item, update that item and keep its source. Do not mark other gaps as confirmed. Opening a contact application does not send the comparison. Use the same brief revision for the next round of quotations.

Keep prices under your control

Draft entries stay in page memory unless you opt into this tab's 30-minute saving. Clear removes the draft. Review sensitive prices and labels before exporting. Sharing through email or WhatsApp is your action in that application. The illustrative examples below explain the calculation boundary; they are not quotations or market prices.
